Keys models the two classic electric pianos: the bell-like tine sound and the nasal, gritty reed. Play softly for round, warm tones; hit harder and it barks, just like the real thing. Tremolo, phaser, chorus and drive are built in, so neo-soul, lo-fi and funk tones are one preset away. It's free, no strings attached.

Bark

Velocity → bark
How much the pickup growls when you play hard; soft notes stay sweet either way.
Bark
How strongly playing harder makes notes louder, brighter and barkier.
Dynamics

Tone

Level of the metallic ping at the start of each note.
Bell
Level of the soft knock of the hammer hitting the tine or reed.
Hammer
Tilts the sound darker (left) or brighter (right).
Tone

Action

How long held notes ring; low notes always ring longer than high ones.
Decay
How quickly the damper stops a note after you let go of the key.
Release
Level of the soft felt thump when a damper lands on a released note.
Damper
Places low notes to the left and high notes to the right, as if you sit at the instrument.
Spread

Vibrato

Speed of the tremolo or autopan.
Rate
How strong the tremolo or autopan is; 0 turns it off.
Depth

Phaser

Classic four-stage phaser swirl; 0 turns it off.
Amount
Speed of the phaser sweep.

Amp & room

Warm tube-amp saturation that thickens chords and makes hard notes growl.

Stereo chorus for a wide, shimmering sound.

Sidechain · Free

Pump

Sidechain pumping, no routing. Free.

Classic sidechain compression needs a kick, a send and a compressor. Pump skips all that: it follows your project tempo and ducks the volume in rhythm. Use it on pads, bass and reverb returns to make room for the kick.

Spread

Wider mixes that stay mono-safe. Free.

Spread widens with mid/side processing rather than phase tricks, so it holds up when your track plays on a phone speaker. The mono-bass control keeps everything below the cutoff centred, which is how the low end should sit.

Are these free plugins safe to download?

Yes. The installers are code-signed and, on macOS, notarised by Apple, so your system can verify they haven't been tampered with.

Do the free plugins work in Ableton Live?

Yes. They load in Ableton Live 11 and 12 as VST3 on Windows and Mac, and as AU on Mac.
