How to use the chord progression generator
- Press Play to hear the current idea, then pick a genre and mood. Each genre has its own progressions, voicings, bassline and drums.
- Tap Hum it and sing or hum two to four bars, or use Play it to record a melody on the keys. The generator finds the key and harmonises your melody.
- Drag the four points of the emotion curve to shape the section from calm to peak.
- Roll the dice on any part for a new take, and lock the parts you want to keep.

Chord progressions aren't owned by anyone, which is why the same few loops power thousands of songs. What makes a song yours is the melody on top, so the generator starts from yours.
Why this generator sounds better
Instead of piano blocks, every progression is voice-led and played by the instruments of our plugins: electric piano from Keys, pads and plucks from Nova, leads and 808s from Hydra, drums from Thump. You hear a vibe, not a theory exercise.
